#COVID-19 has changed the way we live, at least for now. But what happens when there is a vaccination? Or when COVID-19 simply dies out? Authoritarians don’t like to give up power once they’ve gained it. So we are about to enter into a time when the true authoritarians are about to be exposed.
When the true threat of the coronavirus has passed, will landlords continue to clamp down on children who want to play outside? If so, then they will be violating the children’s right to use the common areas of the complex. If that happens in your apartment complex, then fight back. Authoritarians thrive on compliance induced by fear. Don’t be afraid of your landlord. Instead, stand up for your and your children’s rights. For goodness sake, you actually pay to live at the apartment complex! You’re not guests! The least that your landlord can do is to allow you to exercise your rights. But if they don’t, then give me a call at (858) 247-2901. COVID-19 is bad enough. But COVID-19 and authoritarian landlords are a bad combo. Let’s put an end to this nonsense.
